This week, we have the lovely Louisa from Intrepid Forays and Adventures. She is a blogger from New Zealand and has a weak spot for tea, like me! My favourite post of hers is Tea with Alice which is the unboxing of an amazing tea package that I am jealous of! She writes beautifully and is definitely worth checking out!
Here we go!
Hey! Who are you and where do you come from?
I'm Louisa, from Auckland, New Zealand. I'm a blogger over at Intrepid Forays and Adventures.
How long have you
had your favourite mug?
5 years.
Where did it come from?
I got this mug for my 21st, from the woman who babysat me when I was a small child. She's still a close family friend, and I think of her and her family every time I use this mug.
Why this one?
I treasure this mug for it's sentimental value; it has been with me through many tumultuous life events (including the Christchurch earthquake in 2011, moving cities in 2013, and starting my first full-time job in 2014). It holds quite a bit, and is my favourite vessel to drink tea out of.
Does it really make your drink taste better?
Probably not, but I like it more anyway.
What is your favourite thing to have in your mug?
Irish Breakfast loose leaf tea (from T2). That's my favourite, but any dark black tea will make me happy.
When do you have your first cuppa?
I try to have it in the morning before work (around 7am), but sometimes I run out of time and my first cuppa has to wait until 9 or so.
How many hot drinks do you have per day?
4-5 on most days.
What is your favourite thing to do whilst with your mug?
I love holding this mug in my hands on a cold winter's day, letting the heat from the tea warm me up, and watching a TV show while blobbing on my couch. Ideally I'll be wearing a snuggly onsie, with warm slippers.
A big thank you to Louisa for taking part!
