Having a name like Rowan.. I never really found anything with my name on it when I was growing up.
The best thing about being a grown up is that I can have things made for me!
I had heard of the Cheeky Sew and Sew on Facebook and admired the bags from a distance. They are so, so beautiful. You know she is amazing because there is a waiting list - good things come to those who wait!
I pinched these pictures from the Facebook page - aren't they amazing?!
I was gifted an Etsy voucher from my previous work (thanks guys!) and I was itching to spend it on one of these gorgeous bags.
I sent a message to the page asking when the store would be open again and (bless her!) she opened especially for me to place my order!!!
This is my end result!!
The card she included had Rowan berries on it - that is just the definition of LOVELY!!!
The Mrs Britton bag is for after I am married - I am going to take it with me on my wedding day :)
Thank you! I am so in love!!

Those are gorgeous! I also have a hard time finding things with my name on it :( It's always 'Megan' or 'Meghan'.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a nightmare?! This woman is amazing :)

Thanks! :)
DeleteHow great is that! See, my name is so common I always had things with my name on them. My children face the same fate as you. They're going to have to have things custom made for them. Poor children. But, I'd much rather have an awesome name like yours than be a dime a dozen "Heather". :P
ReplyDeleteSo creative
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I agree! I never find my name on name tags, bags, etc so this is a great DIY :)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, this is a wonderful idea, I will have to try it!
