TreeVitalise - Birch Water

Wednesday, 22 April 2015

A few days ago, I was searching the internet for new products to try out. I love trying new things and I love letting you guys know about them along the way!

I stumbled across TreeVitalise and instantly, I was interested. They sell organic birch water that is 100% natural, undiluted and straight from the tree. Their website is so elegant - I immediately wanted to try them - so I started my hunt.

The website directed me to a few stores in London, Kent and Chester - sadly, none local to me. I thought I would drop them an email to ask if they were coming to Hampshire any time soon. I got a wonderful response from the lovely, Anna, asking if I would like to sample some (thank you!)! Obviously, I said yes!!

These arrived - aren't they just the cutest?!

I received the original and mint. The amazing thing is - there is 9 calories a bottle. No, that is not a typo - there really is 9!!

So, what is birch water? In the first week of Spring, when the snow begins to melt in the Carpathian Mountains, the roots of the birch tree absorbs the new water. The liquid is enriched with all these amazing nutrients that have been stored in the roots over the winter. Filtered by the tree and packed with vitality, the "living" water wakes the tree from its winter sleep and kick-starts it into new life!

This only happens a couple of weeks a year. The only take a small share and leave plenty of water for the tree itself - so the tree stays happy and healthy!

The use no sweeteners and no flavourings. Instead, the infuse the sap with mint leaves/lemon peel - and seriously, you can taste it.

Birch water contains xylitol, saponin, betulin and betuloside - which are said to help strengthen the immune system, lower cholesterol and help with weight loss.

First up, the original. The flavour is unique and I love it. It is just enough sweetness and completely refreshing. Really, the original tastes like there is something added to it - like a sweetener or something. To know that it has nothing in it is just amazing.

I sat in the sun and enjoyed this soooo much!

Second, the mint. Wow. I would love to say I enjoy every last drop, but I only managed to get two or three sips before my mum stole it! She enjoyed it so much, she wants me to order more.

The mint was so refreshing - not overpowering, but amazing. It was like I was drinking water with mint leaves in it.

I asked my mum to describe them. She just simply looked at me and said "What's not to love?" and I think that says it all!

I haven't tried the lemon one, but I am going to asap!

Thank you, TreeVitalise!

There you go - TRY them out now!! Seriously, they are worth it.
